Every girl needs an understanding shoulder to cry on. Someone who will validate your feelings unconditionally and without question. Lucky for Mara, my god-daughter Eisley Erickson-Sander, born 8/8/08, exactly 9 months before Mara Jade, can be just that. This blond haired blue eyed little girl showed intrest in Mara's feelings and took them on as her own.
Their first playdate was just an ordinary playdate. Two daddy's girls hanging out with the hero's they know as their fathers. They are very content in their daddy's arms.

Eisley begins to see that Mara needs a listening ear. It's not easy being a newborn. You can't seem to communicate what your needs are and Mommy and Daddy just don't always seem to get it. They try, but they don't always get it right. Eisley invites her to come closer and receive some comfort and validation.

This venting session lasts a while and Eisley is beginning to relate on a deeper level. For although she is pushing to be a toddler now, it wasn't long ago that she was a newborn herself dealing with the heavy burdens that Mara is currently bearing.

Finally, Eisley couldn't take it anymore. She burst out into tears with complete understanding and compassion for Mara's hardships. It was liberating...

The moral of the story is there's nothing better than having a good cry with your girlfriend. After all, girls must be girls...
